Cone 05 Pint Food Safe Opalescent glazes are best on red clay bodies. Opalescent glazes require multiple coats dipped or brushed, and then fired slowly, with ample time to cool slowly. This will allow the glaze to flow and create that mother-of-pearl iridescence on a smooth or textured surface. MPN 38663X
