3M™ Speedglas™ Inner Protection Plates are designed to provide extra protection to the welding lens of 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmets against spark and welding spatter. We recommend replacing the plate when it becomes too dirty or damaged to clean. A lint-free tissue or cloth such as the 3M™ Cleaning Wipe can be used to regularly clean the plate, and for optimal safety and comfort, it is recommended to regularly inspect your equipment for worn or damaged parts.
